Quadrise Appoints Peter Borup as CEO

With over 30 years of experience in the shipping industry, Borup brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership skills to the role. His extensive background includes senior positions at leading cargo shipping operators, positioning him to drive Quadrise’s strategic initiatives as the company advances its technology towards commercialization.
Peter Borup’s Extensive Experience
Peter Borup’s career began at A.P. Moller-Maersk, where he rapidly progressed to the deputy director level. Following his tenure there, he held senior leadership roles at several major shipping companies. Borup served as senior vice president and managing director at Norden in Asia, and later took on the roles of president and CEO at Lauritzen Bulkers and Norvic Shipping. His comprehensive experience within the shipping sector is complemented by his involvement with various investment committees, including those at Rainmaking and Motion Ventures, as well as his board position at the AI start-up Shipster.ai.
