Daehan Shipbuilding Reports Record Revenue Surge

Daehan Shipbuilding announced impressive financial results for the previous year, revealing a revenue of 1.2281 trillion won and an operating profit of 294.1 billion won. This marks a significant increase of 14.2% in revenue and an 86.1% rise in operating profit compared to the prior year. Additionally, the company’s net profit soared by 42%, reaching 245.1 billion won, showcasing a robust performance in a competitive market.

Strong Financial Performance and Strategic Growth

In its latest financial report, Daehan Shipbuilding highlighted an annual operating margin of 23.9%, which is an increase of 9.2 percentage points from the previous year. This remarkable growth can be attributed to the company’s strategic focus on high-value projects, particularly the construction of the ‘shuttle tanker’ class vessels, which commenced in earnest in 2024. Kwon Seung-hun, head of the management planning team, emphasized that the combination of stable process management and favorable exchange rates has significantly enhanced the quality of earnings.
