Azerbaijan Shipping Company Repairs 26 Vessels

In a significant operational update, the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) announced that its Zığ Ship Repair and Construction Plant (ZGTTZ) successfully completed repairs on 26 vessels last year. This comprehensive maintenance effort included major overhauls, routine repairs, and shipyard-level maintenance, showcasing ASCO’s commitment to maritime excellence and safety.

Comprehensive Repairs and Maintenance

ASCO reported that out of the 26 vessels serviced, eight underwent major repairs, while 16 received shipyard-level maintenance. Additionally, two vessels were subjected to routine repairs. Notably, 20 of these vessels were part of ASCO’s own fleet, with the remaining six owned by external organizations. This diverse range of repairs highlights the plant’s capability to cater to both internal and external clients, reinforcing its position in the maritime industry.
