PAL Indonesia, BRIN partner to advance green shipyard transformation
Surabaya, E Java – PT PAL Indonesia, a state-owned shipbuilder, and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) have joined forces to expedite the advancement of green shipyards and fortify Indonesia’s shipbuilding sector. President Director of PT PAL Indonesia, Kaharuddin Djenod, emphasized that the partnership signifies BRIN’s dedication to bolstering the national research ecosystem in support of the shipbuilding industry’s transformation. This endeavor aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s directive to foster cooperation among industry players, research institutions, and universities to reinforce Indonesia’s shipbuilding industry’s autonomy.
