New Pacific’s inaugural build carries on the rich shipbuilding legacy of Vancouver’s waterfront, once home to the historic Kaiser Shipyards during World War II. This design, tailored to meet AMC’s specific operational needs, emphasizes long-distance towing, offshore operations, and operational efficiency.
Cutting-Edge Technology
The new tugs, measuring 122 × 37 feet overall, will boast twin Wabtec marine diesel engines and cutting-edge propulsion systems for enhanced maneuverability. Equipped with state-of-the-art winches and towing capabilities, these tugs are set to deliver exceptional performance in deep-ocean towing scenarios.
