Australian industry programme builds pipeline for Virginia-class sustainment
Australian companies have been given the opportunity to bid for a direct role in the sustainment of Virginia-class submarines in Western Australia (WA). The Australian Submarine Agency (ASA) recently announced the opening of a new stream of the Defence Industry Vendor Qualification (DIVQ) programme on 24 August 2026, just ahead of the Submarine Rotational Force-West set to commence in 2027.
