Capital-Executive Ship Management Corp. has announced a strategic cooperation agreement with SPV Axis Maritime Corp. This partnership aims to enhance ship management services across various vessel types. The new venture, named Capital Axis Maritime Corp., will focus on providing in-house commercial and technical management for a fleet of twenty dry bulk carriers. This fleet includes two Newcastlemax, four Capesize, and seven Kamsarmax and Panamax vessels currently in operation, along with seven newbuilding Capesize bulk carriers expected to be delivered in 2027. The total carrying capacity of this fleet is approximately 3.0 million deadweight tons, with an average vessel age of eight years.
