DNV has expanded its Solar Resource Compass (SRC) online platform to include Europe, with more regions to follow in 2024. SRC provides high-quality solar data and energy yield predictions on-demand. It integrates SolarFarmer and Solcast, DNV’s leading energy modeling and weather data services, to offer precise energy production estimates and site-specific loss calculations.
Solar Resource Compass supports the growth of solar energy, a crucial component of DNV’s vision for a decarbonized energy grid. Over 10,000 projects in the U.S. have utilized SRC, enabling automation and efficiency in solar project evaluations.
