DOF Secures Major Subsea Contract in Asia-Pacific

Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF has announced a significant contract for subsea mooring installation services in the Asia-Pacific region. The project will utilize the construction support vessel Skandi Hercules, built in 2010, along with associated mooring and installation services. The offshore work is set for the third quarter of 2025 and is expected to last approximately two months.

Contract Details and Project Timeline

DOF’s new contract involves comprehensive project management, engineering, procurement, and logistics support services. The execution of the project will take place in West Australian waters, marking a crucial engagement for the company in the region. According to Mons Aase, CEO of DOF, this contract significantly bolsters the company’s backlog for the Asia-Pacific market for the latter half of 2025. Aase expressed optimism about delivering a safe and successful project, highlighting the importance of this opportunity.

While specific financial figures related to the contract have not been disclosed, DOF has indicated that the deal falls within the substantial range of $25 million to $50 million.
