DOF Subsea Secures Two Key Contracts in APAC

Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF has announced the acquisition of two significant contracts in the Asia-Pacific region. The first contract is a three-year frame agreement focused on subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair services. This deal includes the deployment of the vessel Skandi Singapore for a brownfield tieback campaign set to begin in early 2026. The second contract involves a hook-up campaign, utilizing the Skandi Hercules vessel, scheduled for execution in the first half of next year. The total duration for both projects is estimated between 90 and 120 days, with a combined value classified as substantial, ranging from $25 million to $50 million.

Details of the Contracts

DOF’s first contract includes a comprehensive three-year frame agreement for subsea inspection, maintenance, and repair services across the APAC region. Under this agreement, a specific call-off has already been confirmed. The operation will employ the Skandi Singapore, a dynamic support vessel built in 2011, along with its related diver-less subsea services. This particular campaign, aimed at enhancing brownfield operations, is expected to commence in the first half of 2026.

In addition to the first contract, DOF has secured a second agreement focused on a hook-up campaign. This operation will utilize the Skandi Hercules, a multi-purpose supply vessel built in 2010, with activities planned for the first half of next year. Both contracts will incorporate DOF’s full suite of in-house services, including project management, engineering, procurement, and logistics support. The client involved in these contracts has not been disclosed, but the combined duration of the two campaigns is positioned to span between 90 and 120 days, marking a significant opportunity for DOF in the Asia-Pacific region.
