Gulf Marine Services Secures Key GCC Contract

Gulf Marine Services (GMS), a liftboat operator listed in London, has successfully secured a significant contract for one of its large-class vessels in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This contract, which spans 142 days, will enable the vessel to continue supporting essential offshore operations across the GCC, which includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. This latest agreement marks GMS’s fourth contract win or extension this year, underscoring the robust demand for its services in the market.

Strengthening Market Presence

The recent contract win is a testament to GMS’s growing presence in the offshore support sector. The company has seen a surge in demand for its vessels, which are crucial for various offshore operations. This particular contract will allow GMS to maintain its operational capabilities in the GCC, a region known for its extensive oil and gas activities.

In addition to this new contract, GMS has also secured two extensions from a major national oil company in the Middle East. These extensions will last for three years, further solidifying the company’s position in the market. The combination of new contracts and extensions reflects a positive trend in the offshore support industry, as companies seek reliable partners to assist with their operations.

As GMS continues to expand its portfolio, the company remains focused on delivering high-quality services to meet the evolving needs of its clients. The recent contract and extensions are expected to contribute significantly to GMS’s growth and operational stability in the competitive offshore sector.
