MPSV Extension Havila Shipping Secures Charter Extension for Havila Subsea
Norwegian offshore vessel owner Havila Shipping has secured another charter extension from compatriot offshore contractor Reach Subsea for the multipurpose support vessel (MPSV) Havila Subsea.
The 2011-built vessel has been contracted to Reach Subsea since October 2021. Initially set to expire at the end of 2023, the contract was extended until the end of 2024.
With this latest extension, the vessel will remain with the company for an additional three years, concluding on December 31, 2027. The contract includes two one-year extension options. The financial terms of the charter were not disclosed.
“We are witnessing ongoing positive market trends, with our order book and tender volume consistently increasing year by year, in line with our expanding capacity,” said Jostein Alendal, CEO of Reach Subsea.
