New Vessels to Enhance Efficiency and Sustainability

The newly ordered vessels, each with a capacity of 2,900 twenty-foot equivalent units (teu), are designed to bolster operational efficiency and promote sustainability within the shipping industry. This initiative aligns with the broader industry goal of reducing environmental impacts while enhancing service capabilities. Interasia Lines aims to strengthen its presence in the Intra-Asia shipping market through this strategic fleet expansion.

With the delivery of these vessels scheduled for 2028, Interasia Lines is set to enhance its existing fleet, which currently comprises over 20 boxships. The addition of these newbuilds is expected to support the company’s growth ambitions and improve its competitive edge in the rapidly evolving shipping landscape. As the demand for efficient and environmentally friendly shipping solutions continues to rise, Interasia’s investment in new technology and vessels positions it well for future challenges and opportunities in the maritime sector.
