InterMoor, a brand under Acteon, has announced a strategic partnership with Jumbo Offshore to enhance project management and engineering services in the offshore oil and gas and floating wind sectors. This collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive, integrated solution throughout the offshore mooring lifecycle. By leveraging their combined expertise, the alliance promises improved operational control and safety for a variety of floating platforms.

Comprehensive Solutions for Offshore Projects

The newly formed alliance between InterMoor and Jumbo Offshore is set to deliver a wide range of services tailored to the offshore industry. This partnership will support various floating platforms, including Floating Production Storage and Offloading units (FPSOs), Floating Liquefied Natural Gas units (FLNGs), Floating Storage Regasification Units (FSRUs), and foundations for floating wind turbines. By uniting their strengths, the two companies aim to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across all phases of offshore mooring projects.

InterMoor will take the lead on critical operations such as tow-out, station-keeping, and hook-up, ensuring that these processes are executed with precision and safety. This division of responsibilities allows both companies to capitalize on their respective strengths, ultimately delivering a more effective service to clients in the offshore sector.

In addition to operational tasks, the alliance will jointly provide project management and engineering services. This includes the chartering of third-party assets like anchor handlers and tugs, further enhancing the operational capabilities of the partnership.
