Maersk appoints Lisa Park as its new Managing Director for UAE
Maersk has announced the appointment of Lisa Park as its new Managing Director for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with her role effective from October 1, 2024. In addition to her responsibilities in the UAE, Park will oversee operations in Oman and Qatar, strengthening Maersk’s presence in these key markets.
Lisa Park brings over two decades of experience in logistics and shipping, having held a variety of leadership roles within the A.P. Moller – Maersk group. Most recently, she served as the Regional Head of Sales for the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) region, where she successfully led growth initiatives and fostered strong relationships with key clients. Her career has been marked by a focus on commercial strategy, business development, and market expansion, contributing to significant revenue growth. Park is also a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
