Maritime Collision at Indonesian Port Involves Two Vessels

A maritime incident occurred involving the collision between a cargo vessel, LUMOSO HARMONI, and a bulk carrier, PANCARAN GLORY, on 24th January. The incident took place at Muara Sampara Morosi Port, Indonesia.

According to the initial report, the collision caused a 2.92-meter-long scratch above the waterline on PANCARAN GLORY. The inspection team conducted a visual inspection of the upper hull. However, underwater surveys remain pending, requiring divers to assess for potential damage, such as deformation or leaks.

Officials confirmed that precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the vessel’s safety. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision and establish accountability.
