On September 5, a delegation from Sweden, led by Ulrika Heie, chair of the Centre Party and head of the Committee on Transport and Communications, visited the NYK Group head office in Tokyo. Accompanied by 20 members of the Swedish parliament, the delegation engaged in discussions with senior NYK representatives. The meeting included Nobuhiro Kashima, senior managing executive officer of NYK, Tomoyuki Koyama, president of Japan Marine Science Inc., and Hideki Suzuki, president of MTI Co., Ltd., all of whom represented the NYK Group and its affiliated companies.
