Gas Agility, with a capacity of 18,000 m³, is the sister ship of Gas Vitality, which has been under V Ships’ management since Q4 2021 in the port of Marseille. Gas Agility transferred to V Ships management 14 August 2023.

V Ships France general manager Thierry Sarrazin said, “We are delighted to welcome Gas Agility to our fleet and expand our LNG management and services portfolio. MOL general manager of liquefied gas unit 2, Go Sakaguchi said, “We are pleased to continue our partnership with V Ships, knowing Gas Agility will be in safe hands. V Ships has consistently proven to be an excellent ship management partner for MOL, and we value its expertise and unwavering commitment to safe operations.”

Gas Agility made history in April 2021 in the Port of Dunkirk, by taking on LNG then refuelling CMA CGM’s cutting-edge 23,000-TEU container ship Jacques Saadé at the Flanders terminal.

This achievement marked the first-ever refuelling of an LNG-powered container ship in France, reinforcing the country’s commitment to cleaner and more sustainable maritime operations.
