Nor-Shipping sees ‘radical growth’ in 2025 with expansion on all fronts

Nor-Shipping 2025: Bigger, Bolder, and More Ambitious than Ever

Nor-Shipping is gearing up to deliver an expanded and enhanced experience for the global maritime and ocean industries in 2025. Scheduled to take place from June 2-6 in Oslo and Lillestrøm, Norway, the event promises more exhibition space, new initiatives, and increased international involvement. With a focus on sustainable business growth, the event is expected to offer fresh networking opportunities and an enriched conference programme, including discussions on Seabed Minerals, LNG, and Ocean Invest.

Celebrating its 60th anniversary, Nor-Shipping 2025 will feature a larger exhibition area, with new spaces like the ‘Upper Deck’ and a tented hall connecting popular exhibition zones. According to Nor-Shipping Director Sidsel Norvik, the event is almost fully booked, highlighting its relevance to the global maritime community. Norvik emphasizes that the event is a key platform for industry leaders to convert opportunities into actionable, sustainable business plans.

‘Investments, partnerships needed’ to reduce carbon in shipping

In line with its #future-proof theme, Nor-Shipping aims to connect emerging players and sectors with established networks to drive innovation and growth. The event will also feature several specialized conferences, including those on Ship Autonomy, Offshore Wind, and Hydrogen. Norvik underscores the importance of knowledge sharing and partnerships, noting that many significant decisions and agreements are made at Nor-Shipping each year.
