This extension is valued at approximately $1.8 million and includes additional options for further service.

Details of the Contract Extension

The recent agreement allows Ithaca Energy to exercise two weeks of options for the Safe Caledonia, which has been operational in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) for over a decade. The initial contract was signed in late August of the previous year, with operations at the Captain field commencing in June 2025. Originally intended to last for six months, the contract now includes an additional 10 weeks of options, potentially extending the vessel’s stay even further.
