Legend of the Seas will embark on a variety of itineraries designed for adventure seekers and families alike. In the summer, guests can explore iconic destinations in France, Italy, and Spain. These regions are known for their historic sites, breathtaking landscapes, and beautiful beaches. The ship’s winter debut will focus on the Western and Southern Caribbean, including stops at Royal Caribbean’s renowned Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. This private destination offers unique experiences tailored for relaxation and fun.

Vacationers can look forward to a range of activities across stunning locations. They can snorkel in Oranjestad, Aruba, relax on the beaches of Falmouth, Jamaica, or immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Willemstad, Curacao. The ship is currently under construction in Turku, Finland, and aims to redefine family vacations with its innovative offerings.

Royal Caribbean International president and CEO, Michael Bayley, expressed excitement about the new vessel. He stated that Legend of the Seas represents a significant step in the Icon Class legacy, promising revolutionary experiences for families and adventurers. The ship will feature eight distinct neighborhoods, over 40 dining and drinking options, and thrilling activities that cater to all types of vacationers.

Among the highlights are attractions like Crown’s Edge, a thrilling combination of a skywalk and ropes course, and the largest waterpark at sea, Category 6. Sun-seekers will enjoy seven pools, including the expansive Royal Bay and the adults-only Hideaway, which boasts an infinity pool suspended above the ocean. Families can bond at Surfside, a neighborhood designed for young families, featuring the Ultimate Family Townhouse with reimagined spaces for everyone.

Legend of the Seas will be the fourth Royal Caribbean ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). It will incorporate advanced environmental programs, including waste heat recovery systems and shore power connections, as part of the company’s commitment to achieving a net-zero cruise ship by 2035.
