Royal Caribbean Unveils New Beach Club in Bahamas

Royal Caribbean International is set to enhance its offerings with the introduction of a new island destination, the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. Scheduled to open in December 2025, this exciting venture will be located on the western end of Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The beach club will span 17 acres and promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for guests seeking sun, sand, and relaxation. With pristine beaches, luxurious pools, and a variety of entertainment options, the Royal Beach Club aims to cater to families and vacationers of all types.

A Unique Beach Experience

The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will feature an array of amenities designed to create the perfect beach day. Guests can look forward to enjoying the world’s largest swim-up bar, seven beach bars, and over 40 private cabanas. This destination is not just about relaxation; it will also showcase the vibrant culture of the Bahamas. Visitors can engage with local artists and experience authentic Bahamian performances, adding a unique touch to their stay.

Michael Bayley, the president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, emphasized the club’s design, stating it is tailored for every type of family and vacationer. He noted that the Royal Beach Club is part of a broader initiative to enhance guest experiences at one of the cruise line’s most popular destinations. The club will be developed and operated in partnership with the Bahamian government, ensuring that the local community benefits from this new attraction.

The site will be divided into three distinct zones: Family Beach, Chill Beach, and Party Cove. This thoughtful layout allows guests to choose their preferred atmosphere, whether they seek a lively party scene or a tranquil family-friendly environment. The Royal Beach Club is poised to become a must-visit destination for cruise passengers and beach lovers alike.

Expanding Royal Caribbean’s Reach

The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is part of Royal Caribbean’s strategic expansion into land-based destinations. This initiative includes the already popular Perfect Day at CocoCay, also located in the Bahamas. The cruise line aims to provide a seamless experience for guests traveling from various U.S. ports. Royal Caribbean cruise ships will visit the new beach club from six major ports: Baltimore, Cape Liberty (New York), Galveston (Texas), Fort Lauderdale (Miami), and Port Canaveral (Orlando).

In addition to the Paradise Island project, Royal Caribbean has plans for further expansion in the Royal Beach Club Collection. Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico is set to join the collection in 2026, followed by the debut of Perfect Day Mexico in 2027. This expansion reflects Royal Caribbean’s commitment to enhancing its offerings and providing unique experiences for its guests.

Moreover, the cruise line is also focused on expanding its Icon class fleet. Construction is currently underway for the third ship in this lineup, following the successful launch of the Icon of the Seas, which is recognized as the world’s largest cruise ship. The Star of the Seas is expected to set sail in the summer of 2025. With these developments, Royal Caribbean is well-positioned to continue its legacy of delivering exceptional vacation experiences.
