Samskip Joins ZESTAs for Zero Emissions Shipping
Samskip, a leading logistics company, has officially joined the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association (ZESTAs).
Kari-Pekka Laaksonen, Samskip CEO, emphasized their dedication to sustainable practices, stating, “We strive to lead in absolute-zero emissions shipping technologies through our support of ZESTAs initiatives.”
ZESTAs unites industry associations and technology providers to foster innovation and collaboration in the maritime and energy supply chain.
Madadh MacLaine, ZESTAs Secretary-General, welcomed Samskip, highlighting their leadership with a Liquid Hydrogen container vessel under construction at Cochin Shipyard in India. This project aims to create a zero-emissions supply chain in the North Sea.
As a ZESTAs member, Samskip benefits from networking, industry insights, participation in the ShipZERO programme, and a voice at the International Maritime Organization.
