TechnipFMC Secures Major ExxonMobil Contract in Guyana

TechnipFMC, a leading offshore contracting firm, has landed a significant contract to provide subsea production systems for ExxonMobil’s Hammerhead development in the Stabroek Block of Guyana. This agreement marks a pivotal step in the ongoing collaboration between the two companies, with TechnipFMC set to deliver essential project management, engineering, and manufacturing services. The financial scope of the contract is substantial, estimated to be between $250 million and $500 million.

Details of the Hammerhead Project

The Hammerhead project represents TechnipFMC’s seventh greenfield project awarded by ExxonMobil Guyana since the inception of their partnership in 2017. Under this contract, TechnipFMC will supply a range of subsea production systems, which will include advanced subsea trees, manifolds, and associated control systems, all derived from the innovative Subsea 2.0 platform. These systems are designed to enhance both production and water injection capabilities, ensuring efficient operations in the challenging offshore environment.
