The “XIN HAI XUN” Dredger Sailed for a Trial Trip!

China’s first large LNG-powered trailing suction dredger, the “XIN HAI XUN,” set sail from Qidong, Jiangsu Province on July 17. This 10,000-ton vessel, designed for green energy projects, is the first in China to use both LNG and diesel fuel. With a length of 155.7m, a width of 32m, and a cabin capacity of 17,000m³, it features advanced technology including “one-click dredging” and “dredging & driving integration” systems.
