This new addition will enhance Viking’s fleet of luxury ships on the Nile River, offering travelers an opportunity to explore Egypt’s rich history.

Construction Milestone and Future Plans

The float-out ceremony for the Viking Amun signifies the ship’s transition into the final stages of construction. Following this event, the vessel will be moved to a nearby outfitting dock for the completion of its interior and final touches. The Viking Amun will accommodate 82 guests in 41 staterooms, showcasing the signature Scandinavian design that Viking is renowned for. This ship is a sister vessel to others in the fleet, including the Viking Osiris, Viking Aton, Viking Sobek, and Viking Hathor. Features such as a distinctive square bow and an indoor/outdoor Aquavit Terrace will be familiar to returning guests.
