- Becoming a Resilient Global Enterprise by Balancing Growth and Stable Management -

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL), under the leadership of President & CEO Takeshi Hashimoto, has recently unveiled its “MOL Report 2024.”

This integrated report aims to give shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders a comprehensive understanding of the MOL Group’s vision, challenges, and strategic actions. The report is grounded in the MOL Group management plan “BLUE ACTION 2035” and highlights the group’s progress in the first year of this plan. In conjunction with MOL’s 140th anniversary in 2024, the report includes an updated “Value Creation Model” (refer to page 13 of the report) to align with the group’s vision.

The primary focus remains on transforming the company’s portfolio to ensure stable profits, even during downturns in the shipping markets. The report details various initiatives that showcase the interrelation between the company’s three core strategies—portfolio strategy, regional strategy, and environmental strategy—and its dedication to five key sustainability issues: safety, environment, human capital, digital transformation (DX), and governance. These elements are further connected to MOL’s diverse business operations.

Following the format of the previous year, MOL will only release the PDF version of the Integrated Report on its company website, optimized for easy online access and user-friendly navigation.
