Athens-based non-operating owner Erasmus Corp has significantly expanded its container fleet, now boasting a total of ten vessels. This week, Erasmus Corp finalized the acquisition of the 2,741 TEU Jeju Island for $20.5 million. In addition, the company purchased the 1,809 TEU Kestrel and the 1,696 TEU Ela for a combined price of $45 million. These transactions mark a significant milestone for Erasmus, bringing its total number of ships acquired in 2025 to five.
