Subsea7 Secures Major EPCI Contract with Aramco

Subsea7, a leading global contractor, has secured a significant engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contract from Saudi Arabian Oil Company, commonly known as Aramco. This contract, part of a long-term agreement between the two companies, involves extensive work on offshore facilities and marks a pivotal moment in their collaboration. The project includes the installation of approximately 106 kilometers of pipelines and topside modifications, with execution planned for 2027 and 2028.

Contract Details and Project Timeline

The newly awarded contract encompasses the engineering and management of infield and export pipelines, alongside associated hook-up operations. Subsea7 will commence engineering and project management immediately from its offices in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The offshore execution phase is scheduled to take place over the next few years, specifically in 2027 and 2028. The estimated value of this contract ranges between $750 million and $1.25 billion, reflecting the scale and significance of the undertaking.

David Bertin, Senior Vice President for Global Projects at Subsea7, expressed enthusiasm about the new project, highlighting the strengthened relationship with Aramco. “We look forward to working closely with the client to deliver safely and efficiently,” he stated.
