Elogen and Rockfin Join Forces for Green Hydrogen
Elogen, a subsidiary of GTT Group specializing in green hydrogen technology, has partnered with Rockfin, an engineering firm focused on energy and industrial systems. The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expedite the deployment of green hydrogen production systems across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This collaboration aims to leverage Elogen’s advanced Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) technology and Rockfin’s local integration capabilities to meet the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions.
Strategic Partnership to Enhance Hydrogen Production
Under the terms of the MoU, Elogen will provide its innovative PEM technology, which includes electrolyser stacks and the modular Modulyser™ design. Rockfin will take charge of local integration in Poland, assembling the Balance of Plant and delivering comprehensive hydrogen solutions throughout the EMEA region. This partnership also allows for Elogen’s stacks to be incorporated into electrolysers branded as HyVentive, which Rockfin will market. Together, Elogen and Rockfin aim to deliver competitive, modular hydrogen solutions tailored to the needs of the industrial, energy, and mobility sectors.
This agreement underscores both companies’ commitment to advancing the energy transition and enhancing Europe’s hydrogen value chain through innovation and industrial expertise. Eric Minaux, Managing Director of Elogen, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting Rockfin’s local presence as a crucial factor in accelerating the deployment of green hydrogen solutions. He stated, “Through this collaboration, we will showcase our Modulyser™ systems and high-performance stacks to provide our customers with efficient, scalable hydrogen production solutions supported locally.”
MAN to Investigate Engine Concepts for Maritime Hydrogen Applications
Michał Wróblewski, CEO of Rockfin, emphasized the significance of this collaboration for Poland’s hydrogen ecosystem. He noted that by merging Rockfin’s engineering expertise with Elogen’s advanced PEM technology, they aim to offer flexible and competitive hydrogen solutions. Wróblewski remarked, “This collaboration marks an important milestone for Rockfin and the growth of Poland’s hydrogen ecosystem, providing the industry with robust, safe, and efficient pathways to decarbonisation.”
