International Car Operators N.V. (ICO), a subsidiary of the NYK Group, has received approval for a groundbreaking project in Zeebrugge, Belgium. This initiative aims to boost operational efficiency and reduce Green House Gas emissions in the automotive supply chain.

ICO’s plan to construct a fully automated multi-level parking facility at its Zeebrugge terminal marks a significant milestone in European automotive infrastructure. This development is set to enhance efficiency and sustainability in cargo operations.

The new parking system, equipped with advanced automation technology, will not only increase parking capacity by 10,000 spaces but also streamline vehicle handling processes.
