Record Participation Expected at Geneva Dry 2026 Conference
With just 50 days remaining, the organizers of Geneva Dry are anticipating record attendance at the third edition of the world’s leading commodities shipping conference. More than 220 companies have already registered, indicating strong interest in the event, which will take place on April 28 and 29 at the President Hotel Wilson, located on the picturesque shores of Lake Geneva. This year, the conference area has been expanded to accommodate a record 900 delegates, reflecting the growing demand for participation in the dry bulk shipping sector.
V. Subramaniam, a director of the event, noted the steady influx of registrations since the beginning of the year, including participation from some of the industry’s biggest names. The special discounted room rates at the hotel have nearly been fully booked, prompting organizers to secure an additional 185 rooms across five nearby hotels operated by the Manotel Group. Delegates can choose from three- and four-star accommodations, with prices starting at CHF 223 per night.

The speaker lineup for Geneva Dry 2026 is shaping up to be the most impressive yet, featuring a record number of charterer speakers from major companies such as ADM, Anglo American, Caravel, South32, Trafigura, and Vale. The conference will kick off with a welcome address by Delphine Bachmann, the State Councillor responsible for the canton’s Department of Economy and Employment (DEE).
The agenda includes a variety of sessions designed to address key issues in the dry bulk shipping industry.
