ClassNK Technical Journal” Introducing initiatives for vehicle carrier fires

Tokyo – ClassNK has released the latest edition of the “ClassNK Technical Journal,” aimed at advancing technology and society through R&D and technical activities.

The latest issue, “ClassNK Technical Journal No.9 2024 (I),” features a key article titled “Initiatives for Vehicle Carrier Fires.” This article introduces guidance for the safe transportation of EVs and fire-extinguishing technology for vehicle carriers. Additionally, the issue includes diverse articles and papers, such as a joint research project with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) on launch vehicle recovery ships, recent technological activities, and other relevant topics.
