Maersk Opens New Phoenix Distribution Center for American Honda

New Maersk Facility in Phoenix Supports American Honda

Phoenix, AZ – A.P. Moller – Maersk, a global logistics leader, has launched a 150,000 square foot distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona. This facility enhances American Honda’s Powersports and Products division’s service to its Southwestern U.S. dealer network. It offers warehousing and distribution for various recreational, utility, and outdoor equipment.

The Maersk Contract Logistics Team activated operations at the Phoenix site within just 90 days of the December 2023 contract award. The fast activation included locating the facility, finalizing the lease, and taking delivery of initial stock. The facility commenced operations in March 2024. The distribution center staff provides a range of value-added services including coordination of distribution to Honda’s regional dealer network, return management, light assembly, and quality control.

The Phoenix distribution center is Maersk’s third facility actively supporting Honda’s needs. In 2011, Maersk established facilities in Shreveport, LA, followed by Kansas City, MO, in 2020.

Across North America, Maersk manages 85 warehousing facilities covering 22.5 million square feet. The company offers consolidation, deconsolidation, storage, distribution or omnichannel fulfilment. Learn more about Maersk’s warehousing and distribution services in North America on Maersk.com.
