Maersk Tankers to Launch New Chemical Tanker Pool in October
Denmark’s Maersk Tankers has announced exciting news about the launch of a new chemical tanker pool. This new service, called Maersk Tankers Chemicals, will officially begin on October 1.
Maersk Tankers shared this update on social media, saying that the pool will focus on J19 chemical tankers. These tankers are special ships made of stainless steel, and they can carry loads between 19,000 and 22,500 deadweight tons (dwt). The company’s current fleet includes five of these ships: Asp Lily, Asp Sunrise, Nv Athena, Nv Minerva, and the Windsor.
What makes this new pool attractive is its flexibility. Maersk Tankers explained that there will be no minimum time commitment for partners joining the pool, and the redelivery terms will be flexible. In addition, Maersk promises a smooth onboarding process and a fair and transparent earnings model for everyone involved.
Maersk Tankers already manages nine other tanker pools, including Suezmax, Aframax, Panamax, LR2, LR1, MR, Handy, Intermediate, and City tankers. The company is known for working closely with partners to provide high returns and excellent service.
With the launch of Maersk Tankers Chemicals, the company is showing its commitment to growth and innovation in the chemical shipping industry.
