Morocco to build Africa’s first offshore wind farm

Moroccan authorities have unveiled plans to construct the continent’s inaugural offshore wind farm, set to rise off the coast of Essaouira. This ambitious project, boasting a capacity of 1,000 megawatts (MW), marks a significant milestone in Africa’s renewable energy landscape.
