PGS finds partner to improve seismic data interpretation
Norwegian seismic acquisition specialist PGS has enhanced its on-demand seismic data interpretation capabilities through a new collaboration with Austin-based energy innovation platform Onward.
This partnership allows PGS OnDemand subscribers to access Onward’s interpretation services, unlocking the potential of extensive seismic data sets.
Subscribers utilizing these additional services will benefit from Onward’s global network of geoscience and data science experts, who employ advanced analysis tools in a cloud-based environment.
“As our industry evolves, we remain dedicated to implementing innovative business models and expertise to improve our clients’ decision-making effectiveness and success rates,” stated Nathan Oliver, EVP of sales and services at PGS.
“Our service, directly integrated with PGS’ Data OnDemand, enables our clients to receive high-quality interpretations, thereby accelerating workflows and enhancing decision-making accuracy,” added Jeff Allyn, CEO of Onward.
In other news, PGS recently secured a new 4D survey contract offshore West Africa with an international energy company. Project mobilization is scheduled for early September, with the project expected to last 65 days, with an option for extension.
