DNV opens first Swiss office in Geneva

DNV Opens First Office in Switzerland to Support Maritime Industry Growth

DNV, the world’s top classification society, has opened its very first office in Switzerland. This move will help DNV grow its services in this important shipping center and offer better support to local businesses.

The new office in Geneva will work closely with companies that own cargo, charter ships, manage ships, and other key players in the shipping world. Since Switzerland is becoming more important in global trade, DNV wants to offer expert advice on making ships safer, using less energy, and offering new digital solutions to help businesses.

“Our goal is to lead the maritime industry toward cleaner energy. We provide trusted knowledge and new solutions, giving our customers the confidence they need to move forward,” said Knut Ørbeck-Nilssen, CEO of DNV Maritime. “Switzerland is key to global trade, and by opening our Geneva office, we can stay close to our customers, giving them quick and helpful advice, and sharing important insights as the shipping industry changes.”
