The development of the Innovate RAP was spearheaded by AMSA’s Reconciliation Working Group, which comprises First Nations employees and allies. This plan is a result of extensive consultations across all divisions and regions of AMSA, reflecting a collaborative approach to reconciliation.
AMSA’s Chief Executive Officer, Mick Kinley, emphasized that while reconciliation is a long-term journey, the Innovate RAP represents a significant step forward. Reconciliation Australia’s CEO, Karen Mundine, also praised AMSA for embarking on this important phase of their reconciliation journey, highlighting the importance of building strong foundations and relationships for sustainable and impactful outcomes.
